Elsa Disney's First Princess to Be Openly LGBTQ, Serial Killer

BURBANK, CA—Responding to rampant speculation from fans of the first film, the directors of Disney’s Frozen, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, have confirmed that Elsa will have a lesbian love interest in the sequel and will also be a sadistic serial killer. The first film was based loosely on "The Snow Queen," a fairy tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen; the second will be based on the unfinished manuscript for its sequel, "The Snow Queer."

Frozen was an instant success for Disney, earning $1.27 billion at the worldwide box office, and became its first picture to win the Academy Award for best animated feature. Since debuting, the film has garnered increasing popularity with the LGBTQ community and others due to the suspicion that Elsa is a lesbian and has untapped violent tendencies.

“Disney has certainly been looking forward to including more minority representation in its offerings,” Lee reported. “We plan on exploring what it means to be a lesbian and wanton murderer but will include many other serious themes to broaden our potential audience in the second installment of the Frozen franchise.” Buck agreed with Lee’s assessment.

“This is an exciting time for the movie industry and entertainment as a whole. There is more tolerance and openness to different lifestyles and now we have a potential avenue for exploring those types of things. For example, the killing spree would actually come after Elsa starts torturing Olaf [the snowman], keeping him in a perpetual state of constant melting/freezing. After the serial killing begins, there would be a kingdom-sanctioned persecution and extermination—a pogrom, if you will—of the troll minority that appeared in the first film and represent gypsies. And that’s just the beginning.” The co-directors went on to explain that in addition to Elsa’s lesbian nymphomania and what was sure to be a “bloodbath” in the fictional kingdom of Arendelle, many other serious themes would be explored for wider appeal and to build understanding.

“Well, we don’t want to give away too much of the plot,” Lee continued, “but we will delve into the homosexual bestiality between Kristoff and Sven, which was insinuated—rather, flaming—in the first film. Oh, and let’s not forget the overarching theme of domestic violence as Elsa, on more than one occasion in the first film, hurts Anna using her ice powers and then magically her love or the mind-wiping of the trolls makes everything better. That will be sure to make an interesting subplot in the sequel as Elsa repeatedly hurts Anna but cures her with love.”

“Also,” Buck offered, “while we’re exploring these themes, we’ll be sure to do so with an appropriate rating; we were thinking PG-13. That should allow Elsa to drop a single F-bomb at an appropriate moment. Also, it will help prepare children for the melting pot that is the world.”

While Frozen 2 will showcase Elsa as the first Disney princess to be openly LGBTQ, a serial killer, a despotic monarch, an abusive sibling, and so forth, the third installment—if green lighted—will continue to “push the envelope,” the co-directors stated.
