Stock Photo Guy Looks a Little Like Bradley Cooper

PORTER, IN—The social media world is abuzz with rumors after a couple of people noticed that a male model in the stock photo entitled "Man hiking on the beach" bears a striking resemblance to Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper.

The photo pictures a young man, presumably late 20s to early 30s, clad in an orange jacket, clutching his backpack straps while reflectively gazing out in the distance while on what appears to be a sandy beach. Although only the man's profile appears in the photo, he does look a little like Cooper. Of course, Cooper's hair is not normally so long and carefree, but he does often have that stubble, just like the stock photo guy.

Sources said, "Stock photo guy looks a little thin compared to Brad [Cooper], but the face is pretty close."

Another stated, "I mean, I know it's not him, 'cause why would [the star of] American Sniper show up in a stock photo, right? But if you're asking me if the dude bears a resemblance, then I'd say 'sure.'"

Others were not so certain. One person commented on the photo, "Look, I'm late for a train," before departing, suggesting that perhaps the resemblance is not so straightforward.

It is possible that the model in the photo is Cooper from several years ago, perhaps as he was just beginning his career, but then again, it may also be a relative of the voice of Guardians of the Galaxy's "Rocket." But again, our fact checkers could not rule out that the man standing in the sand is one of many clones of the Philadelphia native.

The Colon discourages its readers from jumping to outlandish, though still plausible, explanations. Whereas the most reasonable explanation for the resemblance is just that the man pictured shares some similar facial features to Cooper, it is not entirely impossible that the photo is somehow from a parallel dimension in which Bradley Cooper, who would probably be known as Denny Boynton in his world, just had a friend take a striking photo of him while he was at the beach one day. Of course, how a photo would make it to this dimension from a parallel one is not entirely clear, even with The Colon's enormous resources.

In any case, we can conclude that very little was settled with this article, although The Colon remains alert for any updates.
