Hi, guys. I'm a 26-year-old paralegal whose just back on the market, although I'm not totally sure that I'm up for dating again. I mean, maybe some strong, handsome man out there could convince me to get back into dating, but I don't know—it would take a lot of convincing.

Maybe if you can get a hold of me, you can try to talk me into entering the scene again. I have to warn you, though, I don't check my messages very often, and when I do, I sometimes forget to reply, so you might wonder if I even got it. Sometimes, when you reach me on the phone, I get distracted and don't seem like I'm listening, so if you're feeling desperate to get me to pay attention to you, that's normal. You should keep trying to win me over, though. Gifts, flowers, poems, public displays of emotions: these are all possible ways to get me to turn my head in your general direction, but who knows what I really want?

I've also been known to randomly change my phone number and address just when guys think they are making any progress with me. One thing I do is only half-commit to a date, like "I'll see if I can make it." If I stand you up three or four times, that might be a good sign, because I'm daring you to show me how you really feel. It also might be a bad sign, because I don't want to see you. You'll probably never know, if history is any indicator.

You ready to take this task on, boys? I don't know. I'll give you the last four digits of my phone number and let's see what you can do with those.
