He Won My Respect

Wyatt Collins, 32, will be remembered at a service on this upcoming Wednesday, following his untimely death due to multiple bone fractures, blood loss, and traumatic brain injury.

Collins was engaged to be married in December of this year, causing a great deal of heartache to his beloved, Rachael. Rachael can't help but feel somewhat responsible for his passing, however, as she encouraged him to go through with the game of chicken with his best friend, Gabriel "Snake Eyes" Van Thorpe.

According to those who were with him during his last moments, Collins had been drinking and using some unnamed illicit substances when Van Thorpe dared Collins to drive parallel with him as they raced toward a ravine. The object was to stay right by each other in their respective vehicles, driving as fast as possible toward the ravine. Whoever pressed the brake first was pronounced the loser.

Collins, the braver of the two, easily won the contest after plummeting the full 257 feet downward in his 2007 Acura. His remains were airlifted out of the ravine the next morning when rescue crews were finally able to get to him.

As the winner of the contest, Collins is now entitled to all the alcohol he can drink at his bar of choosing, which would have been paid for by Van Thorpe.

Those closest to Collins now celebrate him as the ballsiest man they ever knew. Although they miss him deeply, they now know what they needed to know about him.
