"Born" in 1982, Tony, a beige Chevrolet Chevette has finally kicked the bucket after reaching 264,038 miles on its odometer. Tony is survived by his lifelong companion, Greg Musek, who purchased Tony off the lot on a warm June afternoon.
Tony will be best remembered for its lack of power windows or steering, the way it always seemed to lean to the right whenever it got going over 40 m.p.h., and the difficulty it gave Greg getting going in the cold months.
One thing that Tony would want all who knew him to remember is that when someone pushes on your gas pedal, you should just keep going.
Greg has arranged for a brief remembrance in Tony's honor on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at Murdoch Salvage Yard.
