Didn't Get to Turn on Light

The family of 3-year-old Tucker Perkins are in anguish over his passing on Wednesday this week after one of his parents turned on the light to the bathroom before he got to.

Tucker's head literally exploded in a culmination of pure rage and obsessive compulsion after his mother led him to the bathroom to wash his hands, but mistakenly turned on the light when Tucker had wanted to do it. She, naturally, turned the light off immediately when she recalled how much Tucker likes to do it, but by then it was too late. The damage had been done, and Tucker's 3-year-old fury at not getting his way boiled over in a matter of about 15 seconds.

He had become increasingly obsessive about putting on his own shoes, turning on and off lights, and drinking from certain cups for several months, but his parents just assumed that he was behaving in the typical manner of children that age, who demand total control over their environment for no discernible reason.

Tucker's parents wish to make known to others that, even though it seems like these toddlers are overreacting when things don't go exactly the way they want them to, in their case, at least, it really was the end of the world for Tucker.

Services will be held at Nederlander Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
