Couldn't Face Frozen 2

Another casualty in the wake of Disney's Frozen 2 passed on Friday of this week. Gregory Hammond, 41, took his own life rather than face a world in which a sequel to Frozen exists.

As the father of two young girls and a son, Greg simply could not reconcile his will to live with the level of anguish he expected to go through over at least the next 3 months. He even attempted to impair his own hearing permanently through two separate attempts, but those around him were unaware of just how deeply his dislike of the animated musical ran.

Greg was known by his friends, neighbors, and coworkers as a dedicated family man who would go to great lengths to cultivate his children's interests, even when causing himself discomfort. He made it through phases of the Teletubbies, Paw Patrol, and most recently a slew of horrifying YouTube incarnations such as the infamous "Baby Shark." Everyone just assumed that he was strong enough to bear these monstrosities and take them in stride. It seems that these were corroding him from the inside, and the notion of more show tunes, stickers, toys, and one-liners flooding his every waking moment was just too much.

The family wishes to use this incident to spread awareness of other parents who may be secretly struggling to cope in a world of ice-related merchandise, catchy-but-overplayed vocal performances, and unrealistic character developments. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that money be donated to a new non-profit organization they've founded that forms support groups for parents of young children who get obsessed with unbearable media.

The funeral will be held at St. Sebastian's at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
